Not only could you change how CJ looked by picking new clothes and haircut, but you could also make him gain weight, or train in the gym to get stronger and learn new fighting moves. And his driving and gun skills got better the more you used them. There’s also many small missions and fun things to do besides the main story, like the usual jobs like police or ambulance driver, and some new ones too.

The story of the game is really good. It starts with CJ going back to his home after 5 years, and, like many GTA games, it’s a story of starting from nothing and moving up. But what makes this one special in my view is that it’s not just about becoming a strong criminal, but it’s also about family and friends. It’s written well, with some serious times, along with some really funny parts. Also, there are many nods and links to past games from the 3D era.

Its best part is the mix of different game parts that make it a strong game that won’t let you down, no matter how you choose to play it. With its deep story, awesome talk, great voices, and really fun and mixed gameplay, it’s a wild ride that you should not miss.
